Over the past 21 years, the Gwinnett County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, has awarded over $250,000 to deserving high school students in the Gwinnett County community through our Annual Scholarship Program.
All Black/African American high school seniors who attend school in Gwinnett County (excluding high schools in Centerville, Snellville, and Loganville) are eligible to apply.
Applicants who are the children of members of the Gwinnett County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. are not eligible for this scholarship.
Application Requirements:
A complete online application consists of the following:
- A typed essay on a selected topic (refer to Essay tab)
- An electronic copy of your high school transcript (refer to Education tab)
- Three (3) electronically submitted letters of recommendation - preferably on letterhead (refer to Recommendations tab)
All items must be submitted electronically by Saturday, February 1, 2025.
All completed applications will be reviewed and scored by the Scholarship Committee of the Gwinnett County Alumnae Chapter. The top-scoring applicants will be granted an interview in March 2025, to determine the scholarship recipients. All scholarship recipients will be notified no later than April 12, 2025.
